When you think back on the school year, it’s an opportunity for some fun and ‘nacho’ ordinary reflection. This year, why not spice things up with your students and guide them through a nacho-fueled journey of end-of-year reflection with Teach Starter’s newest end-of-year craft activity?
This is ‘Nacho’ Average End of Year Craft Project!
This printable template puts a fun spin on chips and salsa by having students create their own ‘spicy’ school year accordion books. All you need to complete this project is a few simple art supplies and a knack for tossing in a witty pun every now and then.
To create this craft, students will
- Complete the end-of-year reflection prompts on the accordion sheet.
- Cut, color, and cut out all pieces.
- Accordion fold the reflection portion.
- Glue the chips to the top where marked, and glue the salsa at the bottom where marked.
- Fold up the accordion book so the chips are now aligned on top of the bowl.
