This template is perfect for students setting New Year’s goals, practicing mindfulness, and reflecting on the previous year.
How To Create Your New Year Flip Book
Use this classroom activity in the weeks leading up to New Year’s Eve or after returning from winter break.
Students will go through each page, reflecting on the past year and their intentions for the next. The prompts include:
- Write 3 goals for the new year
- Write 2 adjectives to describe your year
- Write a mantra for the upcoming year
- Write about two moments from last year: your proudest and biggest challenge
- Finish the New Year’s Countdown story
- Make a list of the top 10 moments from last year
When students finish each activity, they’ll cut them out and assemble the pages into a flip book by stapling them together.
