Create Explosive Math Growth with Exciting Math Games!

Are you looking for a fun way for your students to practice locating numbers up to 100 on a number line? We created this Number Lines to 100 Kaboom! Game for your students to practice their number sense skills while having a friendly competition.

This number line activity is designed for easy storage and use. We’ve included a label for you to use to identify the game while stored in a cylindrical chip can. No can? No problem! It’s just as easy to keep the game inside a manila envelope.

How to Play Kaboom!

To play, students will take turns drawing a card from the can and identifying the number marked on the card. If they can identify the number correctly, they get to keep the card. If the student misreads the number line, it returns to the can. When a student draws a Kaboom card, all of the student’s earned cards go back into the container. The Kaboom card is set to the side. Play continues until all of the question cards have been answered.

Through this activity, students will show they can identify and locate two-digit numbers on a number line.
