Odd or Even Groups of Objects

In mathematics, numbers hold fascinating properties we can uncover through observation and analysis. One concept is the classification of numbers into odd and even numbers. Odd and even numbers have unique characteristics that can be explored using simple counting techniques. To help students grasp this concept, we have designed a series of engaging worksheets that encourage them to count objects and determine whether the quantity is odd or even.

Tips for Differentiation + Scaffolding

For students who need extra support, have them use manipulatives to determine if a number is odd or even.

To extend those students who may find this easy, include dice with larger numbers or get them to roll three dice and add the three numbers together.
