- Parent Communication Note: This is a ready-to-use note to send home, asking families to help gather natural materials like sticks, leaves, or stones for class activities.
- Material Picture Cards: We have included 16 Outdoor STEM Material picture cards featuring clear, vibrant photos of approved natural materials students can use in their designs.
- Building Challenge Cards: This resource includes 20 Outdoor STEM Activity cards featuring a variety of prompts to spark creativity, such as “Build a bridge ” or “Design a birdhouse”.
- Reflection Cards: These cards encourage students to think critically about their designs by asking questions like, “Could you make your structure taller?” and “How would you improve your structure?”
- Planning and Design Templates: We have included six formatted Outdoor STEM Activity templates for brainstorming ideas, sketching designs, and documenting the building process.
