How to Use These Persuasive Writing Posters in the Classroom
Here are some suggested ways to use these posters during your persuasive writing lessons:
- Print on large paper and ensure they are visible to all students. Display each poster as you introduce each concept. For example, use the two posters when first teaching the text type to your students, then when discussing the structure of a persuasive text – display the fourth poster, etc.
- Print four to a page and laminate. Add a ring binder to the corner and give each student their persuasive writing flipbook of goodness!
- Just pick the posters that suit your lesson! The beauty of this resource is you can chop, change, and display only the poster that suits your student’s needs.
- Send home the checklist for students to use during a homework task.
