A set of 24 sorting cards to practice identifying physical and chemical changes.

Use this fun sorting activity when teaching your students about physical and chemical changes.

Students will sort a set of 24 real-world examples as either physical change, chemical change, or the law of conservation of mass.

This resource is great to use in a Science center, or give each student in the class a card and have them sort themselves for a whole-class activity. This is also a great way to lead into a lesson on physical and chemical change to see what prior knowledge your students may have.

An answer key is included in the download.

Use the drop-down menu to choose between the PDF or Google Slides version.
