Looking for Sudoku for Kids?
Most people are familiar with traditional sudoku puzzles. These puzzles use the digits 1-9, which must be placed in a particular order within a grid to be solved.
Well, sudoku isn’t just about numbers! Teach Starter has developed this comprehensive set of picture-based sudoku puzzles specifically for young learners. Picture sudoku work the same way as the number version, but are more engaging for younger users. We’ve used three different themes for our picture sudokus:
- 2D shapes
- Emojis
- Minibeasts
Each picture-themed sudoku features three differentiated versions: easy, medium and hard. The level of difficulty is indicated by a number of stars ( 1= easiest, 3 = hardest) in the top right corner of the puzzle. Answers are included for all puzzles to save you time when checking your students’ responses!
This set of 9 sudoku for kids downloads as a full-color or black-and-white PDF.
Using these sudoku puzzles will enhance your students’ problem-solving skills, improve their memory and focus and help their recognition of patterns… and all while they are having fun!
