A set of 20 task cards for students to practice coin recognition and making combinations up to $1.

Use this resource to reinforce with your students identifying coins and their value as well as making a collection of coins up to $1.

Using play money or the coin cards included in this resource, have your students create different combinations to make the amount shown on the piggy bank. Some of the amounts use the cent symbol while the others use the dollar sign and decimal point to name the value. We have even left 2 cards blank so that you and your students can create your own values to make.

This resource works beautifully as a math center activity during your money unit or as a guided math activity for you to use when working with your small groups.
