These flashcards are a great teaching resource to use when students are learning to write numbers in expanded form or expanded notation.
Students use the cards to model and visually represent larger numbers. For example, the number 3,892 would be represented by 3 x 1,000 cards, 8 x 100 cards, 9 x 10 cards, and 2 x 1 cards.
