A fun guessing risk game that gives students the opportunity to engage with prepositions.
In this teaching resource, students create a sentence that includes a preposition. They write the sentence, but leave the preposition blank. Their partner then needs to use the clues in the sentence to figure out the hidden preposition. Students use the template below, or create their own on a piece of paper or in your book. The illustration on the worksheet shows the sequence this game needs to follow, where they add on another piece of the diagram each time someone gets an incorrect letter. Students need to guess the combination before all the letters are full and the opposing person has been caught by the net trap.
