Differentiate This Prepositional Phrases Practice Activity
Looking to cater to above-level, on-level and lower-level students while they engage with this activity? Here are some suggestions from our teacher team you might like to try:
- Provide Visual Aids – Less confident students may benefit from having access to visual aids, such as a prepositions vocabulary anchor chart, while engaging with this activity. This will help them identify the prepositions at the start of each phrase.
- Partner Work – Assign the slides to students and have them work with a partner to complete them. Engaging with a peer enhances engagement and fosters collaboration and teamwork.
- Create Your Own Digital Task – Encourage more confident students to create their own digital activity for preposition phrases using Google Slides or another digital tool. They can swap with a partner to complete each other’s activities.
