Biography Writing for Kids – Then Make Presidents’ Day Crafts!
To use this resource, have students research and write about one of two presidents (Abraham Lincoln or George Washington). They will then color, cut out, and assemble a display of Lincoln or Washington to hold their work.
These printable Presidents’ Day crafts are easy to assemble and send a heartwarming message of patriotism to everyone who passes by.
We’ve included two versions of this resource, differentiated for lower and upper students. Lower-grade versions have primary lines, while upper-grade versions have standard lines.
By completing this activity, students demonstrate an ability to research and write an informative text about a historical figure.
