Use printable graphic organizers to help your students record what they have learned about the different properties of matter.
Get Your Matter Lesson Plans Organized!
Graphic organizers are powerful tools that help students of all ages visualize and organize information more effectively. Whether used in writing class, math class, or science class, they simplify complex ideas by breaking them down into clear, manageable parts. This year, we’re excited to help you get yourself and your students organized when starting lessons about the properties of matter.
Properties of Matter Graphic Organizers
This set of fifteen printable graphic organizers is designed to help kids explore and record their learning about the properties of matter in a structured, visual way. Each organizer focuses on different properties such as shape, size, color, texture, temperature, and mass, providing spaces for students to observe and describe their findings. We’ve included a variety of templates for students to study these properties and record their learning.
There are also templates for recording observations of physical characteristics, tables for sorting objects based on specific traits, and printables that help students categorize materials by their unique features.
