Sort examples of correct and incorrect dialogue punctuation with a cut-and-paste quotation marks worksheet.
Quotation Marks Practice in a Flash!
Looking for an effective way to teach your students how to use quotation marks correctly in their writing? This printable worksheet could be exactly what you need. It’s designed to help students identify and understand the proper placement of quotation marks by having them sort sentences into two categories: those with correct punctuation and those with incorrect punctuation.
Find & Sort Sentences with Correct Quotation Punctuation
The worksheet contains sentences that include dialogue, direct quotes, and other forms of quoted text. Some sentences are punctuated accurately, while others have typical errors that students often make in their writing. Your students must carefully read each sentence and decide whether the quotation marks, commas, and other punctuation are used correctly or need to be corrected.
