Is That a Good Choice or a Bad Choice? Drug Awareness Activity

We are thrilled to share an amazing resource that can help your students navigate the ins and outs of Red Ribbon Week and their pledge to stay drug-free.  With Teach Starter’s interactive Red Ribbon Week Game, your class can play and learn to differentiate between good and bad choices regarding safety, drug awareness, and more!

.Whether starting your first year and celebrating your first Red Ribbon Week or mid-way through, this activity is a wonderful way to review and reinforce critical safety skills.

An Easy, No-Prep Red Ribbon Week Game

This resource engages your learners with scenario-based questions and situations to help them think about the right choice when offered drugs or in an unsafe situation. Some concepts included are

  • What to Do if You Find Drugs
  • Medicines vs. Drugs and who can give them to you
  • What To Do if a Stranger Approaches
  • And more!

To play, students will read a short scenario. They will think about the situation and choose which of the two choices is the best. The slides will advance them to the next question if they are correct. If they make a mistake, the slides will give them another chance to correct their answer before moving on.
