Read & Write Your Way Through Red Ribbon Week
Marked annually in the last week of October, Red Ribbon Week reminds people of the importance of making healthy choices and the dangers of drug abuse. However, effectively communicating these messages to children and fostering a lasting understanding requires more than just telling them to say “no.” It requires engaging and thought-provoking learning activities and materials. This year, we’re excited to help you incorporate reading comprehension activities into the Red Ribbon Week curriculum with printable reading and writing worksheets for 3rd and 4th Grade.

- After reading a passage, organize students into small groups to discuss the key points. This can include discussing why drug prevention is important and how students can make positive choices.
