Red Ribbon Week Activities for Kindergarten? We’ve Got Those!
Each year, Red Ribbon Week rolls around, and teachers scramble to find resources to help teach drug awareness to their elementary students. Especially in Kindergarten and First Grade! With such little learners, it’s hard to break down and explain the dangers of drugs while still keeping it grade-level appropriate. This year, you’ve got the Teach Starter team to help you out!
Cut and Paste to Identify Safe and Unsafe Behaviors
This resource is the perfect way to help your students differentiate between safe and unsafe behaviors concerning medication and other potentially dangerous substances. The purpose of this resource is to help students review safe and unsafe situations for Red Ribbon Week. Students are to color and read each item. They will then cut the items on the dashed lines and glue them in the appropriate categories based on whether they show safe or unsafe behaviors.
