Liven up your writing center with this engaging roll and write activity! This resource allows students to practice writing simple and compound sentences with subject-verb agreement on a range of engaging topics.
Instructions
1. Roll the die. Match the number rolled with the corresponding row on the chart.
2. Write a simple sentence about the topic you land on.
3. Continue the process by rolling the die, then writing the correct type of sentence for each roll about the topics you land on.
4. Read the six sentences as a completed, crazy paragraph!
Print off on cardstock and place inside a dry-erase sleeve for added durability. Throw it into your writing center with a die for an instant activity your kids will love!
