Which Scientific Method Foldables Are Included?

This resource features six Scientific Method Foldable Templates designed to guide students through the steps of the scientific method and related concepts while keeping their notes neat and tidy. Each scientific method graphic organizer in this resource download focuses on a specific step of the process or series of steps, helping your students easily identify and understand the scientific process. The following Scientific Method Graphic Organizers are included in this download:

  • Steps in the Scientific Method Vocabulary Flaps – Students will create a six-flap graphic organizer and write a definition or example beneath each stage in the scientific process.
  • Scientific Method Shutter Fold Card – Students will create a shutter-style graphic organizer to record a definition or description of each step in the scientific method.
  • Science Tools Foldable – Students will create a five-flap graphic organizer showing common scientific tools and write how each might be used underneath each flap.
  • The Scientific Method Honeycomb Graphic Organizer – Students will match a series of images to the steps in the scientific process and write a description of each beneath the flaps.
  • Scientific Method Vocab Tabs – Students will cut and paste to match vocabulary words and definitions to create a flip-up vocabulary reference tool.
  • Scientific vs. Non-Scientific Questions Cut and Paste: Students will read examples of scientific vs. non-scientific questions and sort them beneath the flaps.
