😍 Count On Love With Our Valentine’s Day Math Activity

To play, students locate and tally six different Valentine’s Day icons in the scene provided, including: 

In addition to individual student work time, use this graphing worksheet as a:

• Math center activity
• Math Warm-up activity 
• Brain Break
• Homework assignment

To extend this activity, have your students create a relevant picture, bar, or line graph to display the tallies. Then, why not have them write word problems that can be solved using their graph and trade with a classmate to solve. 

Additionally, select the black and white version for students to color the scene as they like!

You can also turn this teaching resource into a sustainable activity! Print a few copies on cardstock and slip them into dry-erase sleeves. Students can record their answers with a dry-erase marker, then erase and reuse. 

Additionally, project the worksheet onto a screen and see how quickly students can find each one. Or work through it as a class by having students record their answers in their notebooks.
