Tips for Differentiation + Scaffolding
In addition to individual student work time, use this worksheet as a:
- Small group learning in English lessons, to tie in with your Science learning
- homework assignment
- whole-class review (via smartboard) after working through a seasons teaching presentation.
Students who require an extra challenge could be directed to ‘turn and talk’ to a partner about why they made each of their choices.
Students who need extra support may benefit from more scaffolded support, sitting with a teacher or assistant, and being supplied a seasons reference chart.
