🦥 Parts of a Sloth Worksheet

This cut-and-paste activity is the perfect addition to your animal adaptation lessons. When labeling the simple parts of the sloth, you can delve deeper into understanding the different features of this slow-moving mammal and how it survives in the tropical rainforest habitat.

After labeling the parts, discuss with students some of the simple features of the sloth and how it helps them in the wild. You could discuss how their long claws help them to climb trees and hang upside down. Or how their fur and algae help a sloth camouflage when hiding in a tree.
