Mastering the Art of Retelling – Digital Resource for Students
Retelling is a fundamental skill that students need to develop to become proficient readers and effective communicators. Being able to summarize and recount the main elements of a story or text not only aids in comprehension but also supports language development.
To help students enhance their retelling skills, an experienced teacher has created this valuable digital resource that includes several differentiated templates for students to use when retelling a story.

This collection of digital retell graphic organizers is the perfect addition to your lesson planning for retelling stories. Once you have opened up Google Slides you’ll want ot make a copy and use the slides in edit mode; this allows your students to type in the chosen layout for their retell.
Once they have completed their retell, you can get them to download it as a PDF and print it out to get displayed in the classroom. They can also be kept in their student profile as progress reports as to how they are going with their retell knowledge.
