Use a Student Interest Survey to get to know your new students at the beginning of the school year.
Start the Year with a Student Interest Survey!
Have you dreamt of a classroom where lessons align seamlessly with the interests of each unique learner? Engagement is at an all-time high? And every hand flies into the air when you ask a question?
We’re sure you’ve had those sweet dreams at one point or another instead of those back-to-school nightmares where you show up half-dressed and get observed on the first day. This year, our goal is to help you make those dreams a reality with our new range of student interest surveys.
How is a Student Interest Survey Going to Help Me Teach?
Student Interest Surveys aren’t just pieces of paper; they’re tools that help you tailor your teaching approach to the variety of personalities seated before you. From uncovering hidden talents to identifying shared interests that foster friendship, these surveys help you plan for a classroom experience that goes beyond textbooks and enters the realm of personalized, differentiated education.
This printable Student Interest Survey pack is designed for you to use to help get to know your students, their likes, dislikes, personal interests, and learning styles. We’ve included three variations – primary, intermediate, and upper-elementary levels. With each survey, students are read (or read independently) ten questions and must respond using a provided answer sheet. Once they are complete, you’ve got a window into the learning needs of each and every student.
