Teach Your Students How to Apply Sunscreen

Sun safety is an essential component of maintaining good health. The younger our students are when they learn how to stay safe in the sun, the better!

Teach Starter has designed this vibrant poster to teach your students how to apply sunscreen correctly. It uses simple language to explain both how to put on sunscreen and where it should be applied. To put on sunscreen, students should:

  1. Put a little on their hand.
  2. Rub their hands together.
  3. Rub the sunscreen all over their body.

Sunscreen is best applied 10-15 minutes before going out in the sun. It should be applied to any exposed skin, such as the face and neck, the ears, the arms and the legs.

This poster downloads as a full-color or black-and-white PDF.
