Are you looking for an engaging and fun way to help your students master the concept of finding the area of a triangle? Are you tired of those same old math worksheets? Look no further than our exciting new card game, “Triangle War”!
“Triangle War” is a fast-paced and competitive game that helps students practice finding the area of a triangle. The game is designed for two players and suits upper-level math students. The game’s objective is to be the player with the highest number of cards at the end of the game.
How to Play the Game of War
To play “Triangle War,” you must print one set of triangle war cards for each group of students. To set up the game, students shuffle and deal out the entire deck evenly between the two players facedown. Each player should keep their cards in a stack without looking at them.
On each turn, players turn over the top card from their stack and place it face-up in the middle of the playing area. Each player calculates the area of the triangle shown on the card and then compares that area with their opponent. The player with the larger area gets to keep both cards and adds them to the bottom of their stack.
