Verbal or Nonverbal Communication?
Take your students’ social emotional learning to a new level by sharing this easy, fun and active communication game!
To play, follow the directions on the title slide! Prior to student use, cut apart 24 prompt cards. Split the class into two groups. One team will draw a card and attempt to have their teammates guess correctly. Consider setting a time limit, and taking score for correct guesses, if desired. Repeat until all cards have been drawn.
Through this activity, students will learn and use appropriate language and actions to communicate their feelings in different situations, both verbally and nonverbally.
