Let’s Learn About Weather Tools!
What are common weather tools used when studying temperature, rainfall, wind speed, etc.? Your students may know some of the basic tools, but plenty of others are worth noting! With this instructional slide deck, your students will learn about the following weather tools:
- Anemometer
- Barometer
- Hygrometer
- Rain gauge
- Thermometer
- Wind vane
In addition, students will practice recognizing different symbols used to represent different types of weather on a map. Students will practice locating these symbols and determining what type is present in different parts of the country.
