Are your students learning about how the surface of the earth can change due to environmental and human factors? During their science studies, students will explore and identify slow changes to Earth’s surface by weathering, erosion, and deposition from water, wind, and ice.

Teach Starter has created a crossword puzzle for your students to enjoy while learning important vocabulary terms related to this science concept. This puzzle includes 11 sentences that students must complete to finish. Vocabulary terms include:

Because this resource includes an answer sheet, we recommend you print one copy of the entire file. Then, make photocopies of the blank worksheet for students to complete. 

Turn this teaching resource into a sustainable activity by printing on cardstock and slipping it into a dry-erase sleeve. Students can record their answers with a whiteboard marker, then erase and reuse them.
