A fun sorting activity for students to explore interpretation of color in visual art.
Use this teaching resource when studying the Elements of Visual Art and how artists communicate meaning. Students investigate the idea that color can express a particular mood, emotion, or atmosphere. The activity has been designed to provoke discussion about interpretation.
Print, cut, and laminate the cards (1 set for each group). Allow the students to sort the Fact and Feeling Cards with Color cards.
Further instructions are included with the resource.
