Is It a Liquid? A Solid? Or a Gas? Click and Learn!
Step outside the norm and give your students something special to help them practice identifying examples of the three states of matter – solids, liquids, and gases. This engaging Google Slides interactive activity is the perfect way to change up your independent practice sessions and bring your worn-out science lessons into the digital classroom environment.
This activity engages students by giving them a mission set by scientists: to help sort out a messy laboratory by identifying objects and their states of matter.
Throughout the 24 engaging click-to-advance slides, students will identify a variety of objects found in the science lab and determine whether each object is a liquid, a solid, or a gas. Correct answers advance them to the next slide, while incorrect answers are provided with a reminder to try again.
