Add a "where are we?" classroom door sign to your classroom door to let people know where you and your students have gone!

🚪 Knock, Knock. Who’s There?

No more having to answer the question, “Where were you guys?” throughout your day. This printable “Where Are We?” classroom door sign comes with a series of specials and other common destinations that you can switch out to let other students, staff and even parents know where your class is when not in the classroom!

Available in PDF or Google Slides formats, the sign is available in four different design themes, so you can pick the one that fits your aesthetic.

In addition to the sign itself, each download includes the following destinations, which can be printed on cardstock and mounted in place when your class heads out:

  • Library
  • Art
  • Music
  • PE
  • Field trip
  • Recess
  • Outside
  • Science lab
  • Computer lab
  • Assembly
  • Testing

There are also options for “come in” and “come back later” and “be back soon,” plus a blank card that you can customize!

✂️ Download Your Where Are We Classroom Door Sign

Use the dropdown arrow on the Download button to choose the PDF or editable Google Slides version of the classroom door sign. There are four different versions available: blue striped border, blue dotted border, green dotted border and cream dotted border.

Print out the design theme you would like to use. Cut out the circles with the different locations around the school and add a small velcro dot to the back of each one. Add another to the center of the circle found on the door sign.

Then, you can easily add and remove cards each time you leave and return to the classroom. (Better yet, make it a classroom job and assign it to a student!)
