Who’s in Your Circle? Quick Icebreakers for Kids
It’s that time of year! Back to school means a fresh group of students that need to get to know one another. Get your students talking, writing, and sharing what makes them unique with the ever-popular “Who’s in Your Circle?” style icebreaker activity.
How does this activity work? For starters, it works much like the typical ‘Pass the Paper’ activity. To complete this activity, students will:
- Write their name on the paper and fill in their favorite things in the center of each circle.
- Pass their paper to the left.
- When they get a new paper, write their names in the ❤ ring if they like the same thing as the owner.
- If they don’t like the same thing as the owner, they will write their name in the ✘ ring.
- Students will keep passing and writing on other students’ handouts until they get their own paper back.
Now, when students have their own paper back, they can check to see who’s in their circle and has similar interests as they do. What a fun way to meet new friends!
