Imagine a World Without Water…Then Draw It!

Water is one of the most essential substances for life on Earth. It is vital to the survival of all living things and is a fundamental component of many of the planet’s natural systems. Life as we know it would be impossible without water, and the world would be entirely different.

To help your students understand the importance of water to the survival of our planet, we encourage you to have your students use their imaginations. They’ve studied how we use water and know what we need it for, so why not have them think about what would change if we didn’t have such a valuable resource? In this activity, students are required to draw what the world looks like with water and then imagine and draw what the world might look like without water.
