Encourage student self-reflection with this end-of-the-year glyph.
End of the Year Activity – Year in Review Glyph
This end-of-the-year activity will get your students to reflect on the past school year. They will consider how many friends they made, their favorite book, and more! Students will then create a glyph using the key to represent themselves and their year.
To complete this activity, students will receive a checklist and a template page. Students will work through the questions and draw/color according to their answers and the key.
Tips for Differentiation + Scaffolding
In addition to independent student work time, use this worksheet as an activity for:
- Lesson warm-up
- Lesson wrap-up
- Fast finishers
- Homework assignment
For students who need a bit of a challenge, encourage students to create their own question sheet and coloring/drawing guide.
If students need additional support, encourage partners to work together or complete in a 1:1 setting.
