  • Quadrant 1 Single Grid (Numbered to 15)
  • Quadrant 1 Single Grid (Numbered to 10)
  • Quadrant 1 Double Grid (Numbered to 15)
  • Quadrant 1 Quadruple Grid (Numbered to 10)

Cartesian Plane Template Ideas

There are so many ways to use this template set in the classroom. Here are some of our favourites!

  • Plotting Points Battleship: Students can use these grids and call out coordinates to play a modified version of the classic game “Battleship” where they search for their opponent’s “ships.”
  • Cartesian Plane Art: Some beautiful art can be made on the Cartesian plane. Students can create a picture using points on the plane and then record these ordered pairs so a friend can reproduce their art.
  • Problem Solving: Cartesian planes are often used to display data or represent mathematical scenarios, making them a great problem-solving tool.
  • Mapping: Students can use these templates to create maps of real-world geographic data, seamlessly connecting maths and social studies.
