Celebrate the King's coronation with these beautifully designed colouring sheets.
Get Mindful with These Coronation Colouring Sheets
Celebrate the King’s Coronation in royal style by printing these colouring pages ready for your students to colour in and enjoy. With four different designs, there is sure to be one that each student would love to get colouring! Once your students have completed their coronation colouring sheet, why not have them use the back of the sheet to get writing?
Here are some coronation writing prompts you could use:
- Write a letter to King Charles III, including your hopes and expectations for his reign.
- Imagine you are at the coronation. Describe what you can see, what you can hear, and what emotions you feel.
- Research the history and traditions surrounding coronations in England.
Please note: Learning about the coronation of King Charles III and other events connected to the British Royal Family can be triggering to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people groups, due to the ongoing trauma faced since the point of colonisation.
King Charles III will begin his reign with growing pressure to honour treaties with First Nations People and repair some of the damage caused by the process of colonisation. These resources aim to share information on King Charles III’s life and the coronation ceremony traditions.
