A poster explaining the processes that lead to the formation of sedimentary rocks.

Sedimentary rock is one of the three main types of rocks formed through weathering, erosion, deposition, compaction and cementation, and makes up 75% of the Earth’s surface!

Use this comic-style poster in the science classroom to help your students understand the processes that lead to the formation of sedimentary rocks.

Print out on tabloid paper and display it in the classroom for students to reference throughout your Earth Science unit. Or print it out on A4 and have students glue it into their science workbook to reference at home or while working in small groups.

This is a brilliant resource. I believe even the most reluctant readers will find this resource engaging. I would love to see more resources in science i.e. Rocks and Minerals like this document. Thank you. Lyn
