Teach your students the meaning of resilience with this age-appropriate slide deck perfect for your social-emotional learning lessons.
What Is Resilience?
Resilience is the ability to manage and overcome disappointments and setbacks. Instead of falling down and staying down, resilient people bounce back, learn from their mistakes and keep trying. Learning to be resilient is important for our students because life is full of ups and downs. We all make mistakes and face disappointments from time to time. The sooner we can teach our students how to bounce back from these mistakes and disappointments, the better!
Our expert teachers have created this 15-slide teaching presentation to help you introduce the concept of resilience to your learners. The presentation explains what resilience is and outlines some resilience strategies.
