The Kings Coronation Activity for Young Students
Are you looking for a fun and engaging way to teach your students about the King’s Coronation? Why not get them to think about what they would do if they were the King or Queen with this cute write-and-craft activity?
Before giving this activity to your students, explain the role of a King or Queen as the ruler of a monarchy. Brainstorm what their role may entail and what are some things that past Kings and Queens have done for their community. This can give your students some ideas of what they may write on this fun writing task.

✂️ Give Them the (Safety) Scissors
This template makes for a bonus cutting skills activity, depending on your students’ ages and abilities.
With adult supervision, cutting skills help students work multiple muscle groups and their brains, plus:
- strengthen finger and hand muscles
- build dexterity and fine motor skills
- improve hand-eye coordination
- develop focus and attention.
And all of these skills are necessary to use a pencil and a fork; button a shirt and tie shoes; write, type and swipe.
