A poster explaining the processes that lead to the formation of sedimentary rocks.

Sedimentary rock is one of the three main types of rocks formed through weathering, erosion, deposition, compaction and cementation, and makes up 75% of the Earth’s surface!

Use this comic-style poster in the science classroom to help your students understand the processes that lead to the formation of sedimentary rocks.

Print out on tabloid paper and display in the classroom for students to reference throughout your Earth and Space Science units. Or print out on A4 and have students glue into their science workbook to reference at home or while working in small groups.
