Playing Our Simple and Compound Sentences Interactive Games
Our simple and compound sentences interactive games are fun, exciting, and easy to use in the everyday classroom. This Google Slides / PowerPoint interactive game is designed to be similar to the popular TV show Jeopardy, and is sure to engage your students like never before. To play this game, here are a few important tips before beginning.
- Have students get out a marker and marker board (or notebook).
- Open the file in Google Slides or PowerPoint (Presentation Mode)
- Start the game by clicking on the FIRST question in the first column and have students record their answers. When complete, take a consensus and select an answer while students record the point amount if they got it correct.
- The game will return to the game board screen, where you will click on the next point amount in the same column, continuing as before.
- Once a column is complete, move on to the next column, working from top to bottom, until all questions and columns are complete.
IMPORTANT NOTE: To avoid skipping questions, please complete all of the questions in each column from top to bottom before moving to the next column.
