Nature Hike Counting Adventure! Interactive Counting Activity
This super fun interactive activity will have students counting objects in nature as they explore the woods in this fun and engaging interactive activity. Designed by a teacher, these interactive task cards have been created to captivate students’ imaginations all while encouraging a love of both nature and math!
Each task card has a group of objects students need to count and then three different numerals they need to pick to show they were able to count the objects correctly. If they click on the incorrect number they will be prompted to try again!
Take Learning Outdoors!
After completing this interactive activity as a class, why not take their learning outside and get them counting groups of objects in nature. The real-world application of counting not only reinforces the skills learned by also fosters a deeper appreciation for the environment. Allow students to take photos of the objects they have counted and create a photo album showcasing their findings.
