A worksheet for students to practice writing direct speech.
Use this worksheet when teaching students the rules for punctuating direct speech.
Students read a sentence and identify the error made in writing the direct speech. Then, they will rewrite the sentence correctly.
This resource can be used as independent practice after a lesson or together as a whole-class activity in the middle of a lesson. Simply project the worksheets on the dry-erase board and work through the questions together.
Use the drop-down menu to choose between the PDF or Google slides version.
