The Ultimate Chill-Out Board Game!

Grow your students’ toolkit of strategies for effectively managing stress whilst playing this fun and colorful board game. The set of prompt cards help students verbalize their ideas on how stress can be managed in a healthy way in their everyday lives. Teaching student to manage stress helps them make clearer and more rational decisions at times when they may be feeling overwhelmed.

How to Play Escape From Stress

To play, students roll the dice and move forward that number of spaces. They then read the directions on the space and move accordingly.  If player lands on a ‘pick a card’ space, they will choose a card and verbally answet the prompt. 

The player who gets to the finish line first wins!

Ways to Use Board Games in the Classroom: 

This versatile board game can be used a variety of ways in your learning space. Why not use it as a:

  • Guided group activity for students requiring some extra support with emotional regulation
  • ELA rotation to develop oral communication skills
  • Exit ticket task; simply ‘borrow’ the question cards and ask each student one question on their way out the door!
  • Fast-finisher activity for students who complete class tasks early
