Review knowledge of suffixes with a fun frog-themed Google Slides Interactive review activity.
Inflectionals, Suffixes, and Plurals, Oh My!
Are you looking for a ready-to-go interactive activity to help your students review what they’ve learned about suffixes? Finding unique and engaging ways to review grade-level standards can sometimes be tricky. That’s why we’ve created an interactive deck that is easy to download and use in your classroom, even with your most reluctant students!
This digital drag-and-drop activity has all the design work and organization done for you. All you have to do is download the file, assign it to your students, and put them to work!
Through this resource, students will review how to use knowledge of suffixes and how they change the meaning of words. This review deck includes activities such as
- Sort suffixes using the suffixes -ing, -ed, -less, and more.
- Read multisyllable words with suffixes and place them in alphabetical order.
- Identifying the need for the suffix -s or -es to pluralize nouns.
- Using words with suffixes in sentences
- Determining if a suffix-bearing word is present tense or past tense.
Use Our Interactive Suffix Lessons with Ease
This resource is designed to be used in EDIT mode in order for students to interact with the individual drag-and-drop pieces. If you choose to use the resource as a whole-group activity, we recommend the Google add-on called Fullscreen Interactive Google Slides. This makes your slide deck full-screen while keeping the deck in edit mode.
