A Math Flip Book Students Will “Flip” For
If you are on the hunt for a unique, engaging activity to help your students boost their counting and ordering numbers skills, look no further. Our animated math flip book is fun to assemble and even more fun to flip through!
Instructions:
- Print the two pages of the flip book on separate pieces of paper or cardstock.
- Carefully cut apart the pages of the math flip book.
- Mix the cards up and spread them out in front of the student.
- The student will look at the numbers in the upper right-hand corner and use them to put the cards in numerical order.
- Students can hold the book in their left hand and flip the pages with their right to check their work—if they have ordered the pages correctly, the flower will grow!
Tips:
- This math flip book works best when the pages are carefully cut out to facilitate flipping, so we recommend an adult does the cutting.
- The dot on the left is a marker for a hole punch. If you like, you can punch a hole in each card and connect them with a brass fastener to keep the cards together for easy flipping.
- Consider printing this resource on cardstock or laminating it for longevity.
