Identifying landforms is an essential educational concept that every student should practice. This product was designed to help students practice identifying the different types of natural landforms on Earth. Your Social Studies and geography lessons are sure to be rigorous when using this resource.

To use, students will look at an image of landforms labeled with numbers. They will use the word bank to match the numbered landforms with their corresponding name.

Tips for Differentiation + Scaffolding 

In addition to independent student work time, use this worksheet as an activity for:

To provide an extra challenge, remove word banks from resources and have students label the maps or complete the activities from memory.

Provide opportunities for students to draw, write, and discuss the different landforms around the world.

Assist struggling students with the tasks by providing notes, anchor charts, or individual assistance as needed.
