Build fine motor skills and counting skills with a set of printable Roll, Count, and Color Dot Day Activities.
Use this resource when students are learning to use one-to-one correspondence.
How to use this resource:
- Print the animals on bright-colored cardstock.
- Students choose an animal and roll a die.
- Students place a matching number of pompoms or counters onto the circles. To work on fine motor development, have your students use tweezers to pick up the pompom and place it on their mat.
- They are finished when all of the circles have been covered.
Encourage students to recognize the number of dots on the die rather than count them.
This activity is great to use in a math center.
